john sebastian richter photography (home) Hi, I‘m John! I was born 1989 in Hamm (Germany) and still live there. Photography is a great thing. Landscapes and people are my favourite subjects. I got my first camera at the age of seven and the first thing I did was to push the rewind button. My first film was gone. In my desperation I thought I could do that better and decided to do photography as my hobby - haha! I‘m also a huge fan of music from the 60s and 70s. I don‘t know why, but many people ask me which camera I used for this or that shot instead of asking me how I did it. For those who are curious: Most of the time I use Nikon SLRs (both film and digital), Canon point&shoots, Mamiya 645, Cell phones and film point&shoots. My favourite films are: Fuji Velvia 50 and Kodak Tri-X 400. I use Nikon and Epson scanners, Photoshop and Apple Aperture, Manfrotto tripods with Novoflex heads and I brush my teeth with the Dr. Best Schwingkopf Zahnbürste.
